When clients first get in touch, one of the most common questions is whether they need a full design service or whether Virtual E-Design will be enough. Both lead to a beautiful, well-planned home. The difference lies in how much support you want along the way.
What Virtual E-Design includes
Virtual E-Design is a complete design scheme for one room, delivered remotely. You send me your measurements, photographs and a brief, and within three weeks I send back a digital design document. It includes the concept, colour palette and materials, a furniture layout drawn to your dimensions, visuals of the finished room, and a linked shopping list covering furniture, fabrics and lighting. You then order the pieces and bring the room together at your own pace.
What a full design service includes
A full design service is hands-on support from the first idea to the final cushion. It covers detailed drawings and elevations, bespoke joinery, lighting and electrical plans, material samples, sourcing, coordination with your trades and final styling. I hold all of the detail as the work progresses, so you have one clear plan and one point of contact.
Virtual E-Design is likely right for you if:
- You’re refreshing or redesigning a room without major building work
- You’re happy to place orders and coordinate deliveries yourself
- You’d like a fixed fee and a clear timescale
- You live anywhere in the UK and want professional design without site visits
A full design service is likely right for you if:
- You’re renovating, extending or building, and layout, lighting and joinery all need to work together
- You’re designing several rooms or a whole house
- You’d rather hand over the sourcing, ordering and coordination
- You want one consistent plan that every trade can work from
Still not sure?
An online consultation is a good place to start. In one hour we can talk through your project, and I’ll recommend the route that makes the most sense for your home and budget.
