Wilderness Road, Surrey
A dated new-build kitchen and dining room reworked with a shaker kitchen, tongue-and-groove panelling and antique brass hardware.
The brief
A young family living in a new build wanted their tired kitchen and dining room to become the calm heart of the house.
The challenge
Standard developer joinery and finishes left the open-plan space characterless, with poor storage and no visual link between the cooking and dining zones.
The design solution
I designed a shaker kitchen with tongue-and-groove feature panelling, antique brass hardware and a softly layered palette that unites the kitchen and dining areas.
The outcome
A calm, open-plan kitchen and dining room that finally suits the family living in it.
